Programs
Many people believe that prostitution or sexual exploitation is freely chosen. The reality is that most of these women believe that they have no other option. The majority was sexually, physically, and emotionally abused as children and has continued to be victims of such abuse into adulthood. Most are undereducated and without job skills or work experience, with little or no money. A disproportionate number are drug abusers or alcoholics. They feel the scorn and contempt from our society and are full of shame and guilt, leaving them with deep emotional and psychological issues.

MMHA understands that working through these life events and issues means a very long recovery process. We currently offer six programs.
